Song: "Cooler Than Me" by Mike Posner
Mood: READY!
Hey! How's life? Tomorrow morning at 6:30, I'm leaving for my family vacation! The beach for three days. That means, no blog. lol. Sorry loves.
There isn't really much to say today. Nothing comes to mind as I'm writing this... oh yeah! I was going to make a myspace or something. Maybe I'll do that tonight before I finish packing. Probably. I don't know. But you can go check later if you want to. It'll be collegegirl-online if I can help it :)
So I'll talk to you all on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on what time we get back.

Oops... almost forgot you guys.

Song: "No Love" by Eminem feat. Lil Wayne
Mood: Anxious...
Almost, but didn't. I'm here. A little late, but I doubt any one is keeping track of time. So major family drama yesterday. It sucks knowing your dad has no interest in helping you while you're putting yourself through community college. But wtfe. Right?Okay...moving on.
Went to the movies to watch Inception with my brother and his FBLA friends. It wasn't supposed to be me hanging out with my younger brother and his friends...but sure enough that's what it turned into. However, after some arguing, crying, and "sympathy plays", we watch the movie. OHMYGAWD! If you haven't seen that movie, go NOW! Seriously. You have to keep your eyes glued to the screen to make sure you don't miss a thing, but WOAH! That movie is absolutely amazing. If you have seen it, let's talk about it! Look at the bottom of this post for my new AIM. You can e-mail me or IM me. :]
And... starting today, I'm going to give you suggestions. About anything from books to movies to music. I just want to give you some awesome options.
Book of the day: Wish by Alexandra Bullen
--This book is so emotional and strong. It's basically about a girl that loses her twin sister. She goes into a dress shop to repair a dress and the seamstress sends her the wrong dress. This dress has the capability to grant her a wish. Don't underestimate this book just because of the "magic"! I promise, it's worth your time.
Band of the day: Swift Robinson
--I saw these guys at a bar near where I live and I honestly fell in love. They're from South Carolina and they all met while attending Clemson University. Casey, Ben, Eddie and Sonny make up the band. I have a little crush on Casey;) You should definitely check them out.
www.myspace.com/swiftrobinson
& they also have a facebook.
OKAY, NEW AIM:) I don't even care that not one person is freggin reading this. I'm thinking I'm going to make a myspace or something and hopefully get my stuff out there. Anyway, collegegirlblog@aol.com is the email, also the AIM - collegegirlblog.
Feel free to send me an email or IM anytime about anything.
G'night loves.

Actually came back!
Post Number: .02
Song: "Closer" by Kings of Leon
Mood: Full
Good morning. It's a summertime morning, since it's noon here. I actually got to sleep in today for the first time in like a million years. My mom and I are staying with my grandma temporarily while we find somewhere else to live. Our lease ran out at the old place. My brother is staying with my dad, and that is causing a bit of family tension. Of course, in my family there is always tension. My mom and dad divorced when I was 5 years old, and 6 hours later, he was married to some homewrecking slut from Indiana he met on the internet. Yeah...
Anyway, my brother and I have lived with my mom since then and after I finished 9th grade, we moved. I hated the school we went to with a burning passion. So after the school year ended, we moved again. I actually liked that school and had real friends there but things went downhill and we moved back home in the middle of the year. My first day back at my old school, it was my birthday and it was the best birthday present ever. I walked into my 3rd period class - US History - and this guy I used to have the biggest crush on and dated for 2 weeks in 8th grade was the first person to "welcome" me to the class. HA! Then I went into my 4th period - Allied Health - and my best friend was sitting in there and started crying because we hadn't seen each other in almost 2 years. We didn't really go right back into our old ways because we were testing each other to see if we'd changed any. We admitted this to each other later. We also had lunch together and she sat in the commons with a group of girls I absolutely did not like (later, she told me she didn't either) and let me just tell you, my best friend is not the type of person to skip lunch! So we ditched them and started eating. lol.
I don't know why I felt the need to tell you all that. Nobody's reading this anyway. Which is fine by me, now I don't feel so weird for telling you all that. haha.
So yeah, probably getting ready to go to the movies. Talk to you later! :]

Okay...here goes.
Post Number: .01
Song: "How Come" by James Morrison
Mood: Excited!
Hey. You have no idea how much it means to me that you're reading this! This is my very first post as "CollegeGirl" and I'm really hoping at least one person reads this. If you do read, please leave me a comment and let me know what's on your mind. I'm here to listen and talk.
First off, you can call me CG. That'll work I suppose. I am a recent graduate of high school (June 2010) and I am starting community college in 18 days. EEEK! I'm going to a community college to get my RN, then transferring to a university on the coast to get my Neonatal Nurse Practitioner license! Go me! I'm seriously nervous about starting school though. I'm not going to MY local college, I'm going to another one nearby because the campus is beautiful! One of my best friends and I are going there together. Hopefully, after we're done with the community college, we'll move to the beach. We're also planning a world trip...well just any place with sexy accents (like England, Italy, Ireland, Australia...). lol. We're young, we might as well enjoy the world. That's what it's for:)
I don't have a boyfriend, I really don't want to be tied down like some of my friends. One girl just got married, fresh out of high school. (BTW- the last week of school, she was talking about leaving him!) Another, is pregnant with her 2nd child. I don't judge them, I just have different goals and perspectives than they do.
My best friend and I have been close since we met in 6th grade. Before I left for a month to visit my grandma in Colorado, we got even closer. Now, I've been back for a month and she hardly ever responds to my texts and I haven't seen her since the week I left. That upsets me. She lives with her boyfriend of like 6 years and I just worry about her.
That's it for now... I might post some more later on tonight, but if I don't, I'll see you tomorrow!
